Mark Feeney Boston Globe Diverting as Glaser is being retrospective, it's so much more interesting -- not to mention truer to his achievement -- watching him being creative. Rated: 2.5/4 Jul 2, 2009 Full Review Kenneth Baker San Francisco Chronicle ...will leave an audience feeling both lightened and illuminated. Rated: 3/4 Jun 19, 2009 Full Review Joe Neumaier New York Daily News Collaborators testify to the continuing influence of Glaser, now almost 80, but seeing is believing in director Wendy Keys' pleasantly conversational documentary. Expect to mutter "He made that too?" at least a dozen times. Rated: 3/4 May 22, 2009 Full Review Philip Martin Arkansas Democrat-Gazette a wonderfully intelligent portrait of a surprisingly verbal visual artist. At 80, Glaser is a wise and ever engaged advocate for improving the worldthrough stylistic invention. Rated: 88/100 May 1, 2010 Full Review Jerry Portwood New York Press Unfortunately, the portrait first-time director Wendy Keys paints of the 80-year-old is more about myth building than anything else. May 27, 2009 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru An illuminating, compelling and well-focused documentary. Just like Milton Glaser's artworks, it concurrently informs and delights. Rated: 8.0/10 May 24, 2009 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I enjoyed this doc quite a bit, and was surprised to see that Glaser was responsible for the I Heart NY design, which hasn't made him rich, but rather proud that art can inspire others through its reappropriation. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member What an inspiring artist. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Milton Glaser's omnipresence in New York city is uncanny. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting subject! Helvetica and Objectified are better movies. Q+A with filmmaker added to overall film viewing experience -- her first film. Maybe next time she won't be seen on film asking questions. Worth seeing. [walker art center theater, 2009-05] Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member its the best of my movie Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
