FBI agent Jake Harris (Val Kilmer) escorts a group of cadets to a remote island for simulation training. The cadets, under the leadership of J.D. (Christian Slater), will try to catch an imaginary serial killer within the island's elaborate facility. The FBI, however, is suspicious of Harris' methods and dispatch Gabe Jensen (LL Cool J) to act as an outside observer. It was supposed to open in the spring of 2003, but they kept pushing back the release date. They should have kept pushing. Go to Full Review

Evidently, these young FBI geniuses were just on a collective undercover assignment to infiltrate the Melrose Avenue club scene, because their disguise consists of half-grown (or half-ungrown) beards, shaggy hair, [and] insouciant wisecracking attitudes. Go to Full Review

A silly retread of And Then There Were None only with the most inept crew of budding profilers. Morris is bland and Lee Miller's accent is atrocious, but the deaths are solid. Mindhunters isn't a good movie, but it is a fun movie. Go to Full Review

There's suspense from the guessing game, though the big reveal is underwhelming and unconvincing; too many contrived things take place for any of this to make much sense. Go to Full Review

The sloppily made suspense thriller was deservedly ripped by most critics and was a financial flop. Go to Full Review

SA G May 2 This movie is so interesting and although Val Kilmer has a small part, he still shines through for his fine acting. Such a great thriller, keeps you guessing 'til the end and it keeps your attention throughout the movie. See more Jeannie S 09/17/2024 I think Groff was so wrong for this part. He played this part with no emotion in his voice and whispered throughout the whole series. His cocky attitude really got to me. And the whispering! Ugh….the series held my attention and was very different. If you can get past the whispering and lack of emotion from Groff you should watch this series.
