Sergio Burstein Los Angeles Times The film entertains, moves, keeps its hero on the right path, and has at least one memorable sequence that gives you goosebumps because it looks so realistic. [Full review in Spanish] Jun 9, 2025 Full Review John Powers NPR Predictably, this new movie is overblown, inanely plotted, clotted with expository dialogue and boundlessly self-congratulatory. But, you know, it's also fun to watch. Jun 4, 2025 Full Review Dwight Brown DwightBrownInk.com If this is the end, what a way to go. An impossible mission that’s made possible and thrilling by a brilliant cast, crew and a movie star extraordinaire. Rated: 3.5/4 Jun 4, 2025 Full Review Michael Calleri Niagara Gazette Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning” is a good summer action movie, although most assuredly not a great one. Too often, it inches forward in fits and starts. Two extended, attention-getting action set-pieces absolutely do stand out. Jun 12, 2025 Full Review Leigh Paatsch Daily Telegraph (Australia) Nevertheless, when all is said and done, Final Reckoning still stands as a memorable and fitting completion of one of mainstream cinema’s most popular, exciting and entertaining journeys. Rated: 4/5 Jun 10, 2025 Full Review Mattie Lucas From the Front Row It may not bring the franchise out on its highest note, but it's hard to resist its eye-popping charms. Ethan Hunt Plot is convoluted. Direction and cinematography are confused. Music score is repetitive and unspired. The only exception is the stunts scenes done by Tom Cruise. After MI2 this is the worst of the entire franchise. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review Stuart D After that thrill ride, it’s nice to sit in a quiet room. Seeing in the theater is a must. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review Teresa D Very slow in the beginning. Too much under water "action". The airplane scenes were so unreal. Just not the typical MI movie. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review Collin Best Movie of 2025 and possibly my life!! Hope it’s not truly the end! #LASTMISSION Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review Jennifer W Oh my gosh this movie was just so bad. The best part was the black woman president. The first like 30 minutes was no but flashbacks to scenes of previous movies. There was no rational way for the characters to get from point a to Point b in the time given. Also, going from thought a to conclusion b was so painfully unlikely. The writing was bad so many cheesy lines. Cool stunts I guess. But why did Tom have to Climb out of the front seat into the back? He couldnt fly from the front? And where did the second parachute come from. And finally, my biggest peeve from the movie. They mangled the Russian names! They had the emphasis on the wrong syllable every time. They werent difficult words. At least the submarine drivers, whose job it is to track Russian subs ,hould be able to Pronounce the name of the Russian sub!! Speaking of the sub—no way would there be 5 men and a woman on the crew. Thats a sexual assault/harassment lawsuit waiting to happen. And during the knife fight in the gym, a steam pipe is broken and no alarm goes off? But yeahcool stunts. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/15/25 Full Review fergie A fun ride, but pretty predictable.
