Two strangers wake up in the middle of the desert with no memory of anything - including their names. Are they dead? Or did they just party too hard? A warm buddy film at heart - but hopefully also a rumination on existential themes such as regret, cynicism, faith, and empathy.

Noel Murray Los Angeles Times This kind of movie can easily become ponderous and pretentious, but Putka keeps everything wide open, in the spirit of his befuddled protagonists. Sep 3, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Shock Therapy R Mortals trying to figure out death is synonymous with mortals trying to figure out life: they can't. Their theories of "good guy" or not, or that flicker spark of ‘am I a god who can forgive on behalf of others?', is remedial and drivel. The assurances that everything will be okay, or even an in-between space between death and what comes next wherein people tell you that everything will be okay, is Pollyanna at the Apocalypse.
