Inspired by the legend of Hanuman, an icon embodying strength and courage, Monkey Man stars Dev Patel as Kid, an anonymous young man who ekes out a meager living in an underground fight club where, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten bloody by more popular fighters for cash. The story line/message is okay. There is a section of the movie which is slow and drags. Actors are all new to me. Actors did act. Culture customs and lifestyles are displayed/shown and verbal wisdom is given. I liked it.
