nick s The directing was a little stiff, especially for poor Viktor who spent a lot of time standing in one spot. And the ending wasn't terribly convincing. But if you can put those flaws aside it was a unique and interesting little noir. Worth the time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Nadya R Peggy Cummins is gorgeous, luminously beautiful and gives a bravura performance here, just as she did in "The Late George Apley." Ethel Barrymore is frighteningly convincing as miscast Victor Mature's mother. Supporting cast is fine. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
