At the same time, the movie wallows in scenes of talky explication but it leaves so many unexplained questions. Go to Full Review

The film never really comes together as a satisfying whole, and emotionally, it’s a non-starter; it’s too formulaic, and it doesn’t put its tongue deep enough into its cheek. Go to Full Review

Mother’s Day is worth watching for the spectacular action-turn by Agnieszka Grochowska, who carries the film above its flaws for most of the picture. Go to Full Review

Mother’s Day is worth watching for the spectacular action turn by Agnieszka Grochowska. Her performance is so gutsy that she carries the film above its flaws for most of the picture. Go to Full Review

While Mother’s Day is way better in terms of action than that other Mother-themed movie on Netflix, the story suffers from a lack of connection with the players due to skimpy character development. Go to Full Review

Herry S 07/16/2023 Well I dont understand the story was about, Im sorry the story was bad I wouldnt watch this again See more tvanness1 06/21/2023 It's your typical female assassin, revenge action flick. (great that is a norm now) Not horrible actually but no Peppermint or Columbiana. Female lead is actually really good imho. If you like the genre, it is entertaining. See more Jason W 05/27/2023 While there are some pretty interesting fights, the plot is pretty lost, the characters are lost, the dialog is lost... just lost. For an expert fighter, the main character sure takes a lot of wounds, hits, falls and just overall clumsy takes. It detracts from the actual fight scenes. As for the plot progression, it can best be described as all bad decisions followed by one halfway decent decision to fix everything. This is a tired and lazy way of plot development. Overall, it was forgettable and it was okay as background noise... otherwise don't pay too much attention. See more Toko J 05/26/2023 bad movie, unclear storyline and bad acting See more Matthew T 05/26/2023 First looks cheap and silly, after some time it makes own, unique grotesque, pastiche, action mix. Somehow it gets interesting, second half much better, more structured, weird experience but surprisingly, in the end, a good experience… See more M B 05/25/2023 If your a fan of violence, constant fighting and a dull story; go for it See more Read all reviews
