Movie raises a great question. So if we Americans stole the land from the Indians, which tribe do we give it back too? I do not like alot of the scenes in this movie, but I it does raise this question?

in short this is A fun movie the plot is pretty straightforward its basically just mountain men fighting Indians, filming locations are beautiful they did a great job showing how brutal life was in the American frontier some scenes of people being scalped are pretty graphic

One of my very favorites. Heston and Keith are both excellent. Great gruff, tough-man dialogue and action. These professional reviewers hate it. That alone should tell you it's a great movie.
