Jennie Punter Globe and Mail In the end, Moving Day wavers too much between dark and light and doesn't quite deliver the populist package Clattenburg seems to be going for. Rated: 2/4 Jul 19, 2012 Full Review Linda Barnard Toronto Star Moving Day has some genuinely funny moments, plus some oddball ones that lead to more head scratching than guffaws. But as Cedric would advise, just go with it. Rated: 2.5/4 Jul 19, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Will Sasso and Charlie Murphy team-up with heart-warming intentions Charlie Murphy and Will Sasso team up for an amazingly touching story about the hardship of daily life in modern times. I wouldn't say it's the best of its kind, but it does a good job of portraying the life and relationships of the main character. The two actors really give some of their best work in this film. It's heartwarming and helps fill the block of where the manual labor-heavy workers' minds go during their lives as proletariat of their time. I think the loss of Charlie Murphy in 2017 was horrible. I wish Will Sasso did more parts like these. The director is famous for doing "The Trailer Park Boys." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed this quirky comedy. The surrealist and absurdist quality is a good commentary on the day to day struggle of a laborer. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A misfit furniture mover (Will Sasso) fantasizes about leaving his unfulfilling job for an equally unfulfilling job on a municipal road crew. The script needed more excitement. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Doesn't quite deliver! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is about a group of movers. The lead, Will Sasso from MadTV, starts seeing his life the way it is and how he is in a rut. There are a few pretty funny parts like when they destroy a guy's house by dropping a dresser. The story is good. The owner of the moving store is a crook, nice, but a crook. Will Sasso has to grow up and move on and this is a struggle. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Kind of frustrating, but it builds up to the ending you need.
