Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Sharp commentary on the rising communal divide and the Hindu-Muslim question, this Anubhav Sinha film talks out loud about Us and Them, and already feels brave... Aug 17, 2021 Full Review Anupama Chopra Film Companion The film speaks to the poison of communalism that has spread throughout the country. Mulk is persuasive and powerful. May 18, 2020 Full Review Saibal Chatterjee NDTV Anubhav Sinha's Mulk is a compelling, uncommonly courageous drama that gets as close to the truth as a Mumbai film ever can, especially given the times that we live in... It isn't often that Bollywood shows such spine. Rated: 4/5 Jul 21, 2020 Full Review Pooja Pande BookMyShow Mulk has a good story and a gripping narrative, embellished by flawless and intense performances by great actors. Jan 17, 2019 Full Review Rahul Desai Film Companion I came out of Sinha's film admittedly humbled, and of the belief that verdicts are best delivered after the closing statements. Rated: 3/5 Aug 27, 2018 Full Review Nandini Ramnath Scroll.in In commonsensical moments, Mulk is at its most clear-eyed about what is at stake...Mulk asks the questions about ad hominem attacks on Muslims that need asking. Indian c Mulk tells a story that needed to be told - and I am grateful for that. However, good as the premise and the story is, Mulk handles its message with little subtlety and does not shy away from going as far as having actors look into the camera and state its message out loud. If you can get past that, you will enjoy Mulk. Final score: 59/100 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/07/22 Full Review Audience Member It's informative, Taapsee you always stunning Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member 'Mulk', though commendable and applause-worthy for its central theme alone, deserves being watched because it is an unexpected, moving film with a layered narrative about Islamophobia in India. It is subtle and comes with its emotional highs which makes it equally entertaining and core-rattling. Anubhav Sinha is actually the one here who deserves an applause for making the characters resonant and captivating enough to keep us entertained and hooked to the screens. Taapsee Pannu gives one of the career-best performances after 'Rumi' in Manmarziyan, and Rishi Kapoor is unmatched- but Manoj Pahwa is a special find here in a funny yet blazing supporting character. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member exceptional movie... every person on this heavenly earth need to watch this movie to understand where we stand as human beings and just vanish any feelings which are hide behind some prejudice mind set just to prove which doesn't exist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review abhishek s Powerful stuff! Anubhav Sinha and Rishi Kapoor in top form. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the best court room drama in Bollywood movie.. it simple and message conveyed.
