christopher c. m I do love this movie and I may be in the minority. I know the original cast is considered sacred and every attempt to replacement them has fans to being out the pitchforks. How some characters get recast with no problems but others can't is insane to me. Not sure if this was going to be a backdoor pilot for a New Munsters show I can't say. But it is funny, well made and is faithful to the original show. It does have some annoying supporting characters and the cast could have been better. But overall, I love it. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review jonathan m Grandpa was quite good the rest of the cast was terrible if your gonna bring back a franchise based on a kookie family why would you choose Christmas. 🤔 the Nosey neighbour was also quite fun, but in general the movie is terrible. There is one particular scene where Herman is trying to donate blood but they can't seem to get a needle in his arm and I try over and over again jabbing him with different needles to me this is very this is just disturbing as I've a fear of injections but fair are no fair it's just very unsettling. Also Marilyn was very stupid this time around as in Jan Brady stupid when infact she should be really smart. Plot: Eddie Munster is being bullied and doesn't like Christmas anymore, the munsters proceed to have a Christmas decorating contest with there nasty neighbour. And do various other things to get him in the Christmas spirit, the Nosey nasty neighbour She is not as funny as Christina bransky in the Grinch that scene where she was firing the Christmas lights with machine-gun was just so funny. I think Ill watch that scene again I really don't like the Grinch I'm not a big fan of Jim Carrey but that sceen. Don't watch this movie Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The original Munster family was cheesy, but the cast helped pull it together. This one film is just a cheap knockoff. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/25/18 Full Review Audience Member it's an ok film but it doesn't own up to the tv show you just can't replace Fred Gwynne Yvonne Decarlo and Al Lewis Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I was expecting to HATE this with a passion.. however it wasn't the worst Christmas special/movie I've ever seen. Could not stand Sandy Baron's Grandpa.. it seemed so far from the original played so brilliantly by Al Lewis.. I actually thought the new versions of Marilyn and Eddie were slight improvements.. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member A film that brings a little bit of the old Munster charm back. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
