Audience Member Why this film was called murder with mirrors, I don't know, as I don't remember anyone being killed with anything other than a gun. The title did suggest to me that some sort of illusion would be involved though, which allowed me to guess the assailant before their identity was officially revealed - something which I always think I should not be able to do in a quality sleuthing mystery. Nevertheless it was still an enjoyable watch from an aged looking cast, only I did feel that the suspects, and motives were a little limited for an Agatha Christie production....... and dare I say it, a tad dull. I guess when you're asked to emulate the success of previous detective novels such as Death on the Nile, you're not always going to come up trumps, but it might be nice if some of the attributes could be reflective (aside from the mirror in the title credits of course haha!)
