isla s This is a really sweet, touching film. Its a character based drama and I'd dare you not to feel sorry for and even proud of Luke (the main character). I felt I could understand his frustration and sense of isolation, in his newfound situation. The acting is good, it seems pretty genuine and I like that it's somewhat understated. I like that while its perhaps partly sentimental, its certainly not overly soppy. It feels real. I would definitely recommend this film, yes. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a very beautiful film. The score and cinematography are stunning and the acting us beautiful. The only downside is the lack of explanation about who or what the feral girl is. Every indication is that she is an insured fox that he cares for and imagines as a human, as he grieves for the mother he was the carer for. The foxhounds hunt her and bite her, she cries like a fox, she scratches and crawls, she is caught in a snare... so I was invested in her identity being revealed. She never is revealed except for someone saying 'who is she?' , indicating she was actually a human. So, who was she? The film ends very abruptly and we are never to know. But this is a film of great beauty and the acting from everyone truly is breathtaking. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I saw this film on Monday night with my daughter and we had the best time. This is a brilliant film and one that really takes you on an emotional journey. We both loved it and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a well told, hard hitting drama. This film needs to be seen by the wider audience. Jane Gull and Duncan Paveling ought to be really proud of their film. Serina Hartwell - Author of The Hidden Saga Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Heart warming film that tackles a very difficult subject with both a splashing of light humour,an engaging story-line and some great acting. I watched this film with a certain degree of apprehension, fearful that this would a dark and somewhat drab affair, that wallows in self pity centered around the main actor and his extra chromosome. However, I left feeling happy and wanting more. All three main characters, portrayed by Brandon, Rastall and Swash bring something different and depth to the story. If you're tired of shallow pointless blockbusters, this one is for you. The only negative is the abrupt ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
