The unimaginable has happened... Equestria has lost its magic! Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasi are no longer friends and now live separated by species. But idealistic Earth Pony Sunny (Vanessa Hudgens) is determined to find a way to bring enchantment and unity back to their world. Teaming up with open-hearted Unicorn Izzy (Kimiko Glenn), the pair travel to faraway lands where they encounter the likes of charismatic and brave Pegasi Pipp (Sofia Carson) and Zipp (Liza Koshy) and the ever-responsible fellow Earth Pony Hitch (James Marsden). Their mission is full of misadventures, but these new best friends each possess their own unique and special gifts that may be just what this ponyverse needs to restore magic and prove that even little ponies can make a big difference.

Ok, but this was horrible. I wish I could give it 0 stars. It's not the animation, or anything like that, it's the story. It's HORRIBLE. It's changed everything of the original My Little Pony. And it literally says that the ponies hated each other, even though the series already did that and solved it... and how did Sunny turn into a alicorn so quickly? It's just a bad storyline... and it ruined my childhood. It should have been the Mane 6.

Honestly my kids enjoyed watching the friendship is magic version and me personally I grew up watching the original one so for them to just make a new one was outrageous and I would honestly be ok with it but they also removed the names I watched episode one with my child and she said she hated it. I dislike this new show.

This film, MLP: A New Generation botched the entire franchise of G4's continuation into the future, I get the concept of reuniting what once was broken hundreds of years back but it was executed so poorly, that it's offensive after years of what G4 can pull up after over a decade of its runtime as a series; just for G5 to botch up the lore of the film once again with barely any substance within. As I watched the film carefully, what I could say, is it's UNNECESSARY to make G5 look 3D, not only that, it looks extremely uncanny if you wanted to make a good G5 film, at least make the style of the film not look like it tried to copy cheap looking knock-offs from other imitators.
