      Marco C A no macguffin, no Deus ex-machina wise little thriller. In a sensual, humorous, gory, stark fashion, Carlota Pereda delivers a tale of growing into adolescence with all the uncertainties it implies. Protagonist Laura Galán portrays with brio a bullied, obese teen who waddles through her growing pains, abuse and her belonging to a stale, small-town Spanishs family, leaving a trail of blood behind her.
