Jeff M It's been a long time since I've found a really good guilty pleasure movie to add to my list, and this one is pure trashy fun. Imagine Glenn Close in FATAL ATTRACTION as a high school student, and that's basically all you need to know. The unintentional (??) laughs here are generous and plentiful - particularly in the climax when all hell has broken loose. And the more absurd it became, the more I wanted second helpings. I must say, through the schlock of it all, Loken is extremely effective as the obsessed pupil and has moments where she is genuinely disturbing. She seems to find the right tone between playing it straight and having fun with the role. Joiner's pecs give a fine performance as well - the clothes get tighter as the film progresses, and you're just waiting for his shirt to burst open INCREDIBLE HULK style. Joiner is as believable as an English teacher as I would be starring in THE CHANNING TATUM STORY. It all gets a bit lurid at times, and the film doesn't work trying to paint the dad as a victim when his choices led to the consequences. But as long as you don't take it too seriously, it's a sleazily good time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/24 Full Review Chelle W This film is terrible from start to finish. Bad acting and terrible story line. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Waste of 1.30hrs, seems this was made by college students Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/22 Full Review Audience Member One of the worst films ever. Actually calling it a film is too generous. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The funniest film to watch period. If your looking for a really bad film that's fun to watch this is the one. The script is written by a 15-year-old and is just so awkward it's laughable. The plot points never make sense none of the characters makes reasonable decisions, this makes it fun to watch as you are unable to predict what's going to happen not because of good writing but because the characters are so stupid. I must say I wish that the teacher was shown in a more negative light, he does so much bad stuff but is just like meh almost like he just lets bad stuff happen and has no real problem with it for example the main character kisses him then he waddles into school the next day like what's new. Ahhh this film is just hilarious great to watch if you just want to be confused and laugh. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member It certainly was a movie.
