Audience Member 10/2/16 Netflix Amazing that this was a German made film albeit with an East German leaning. This film, along with Son of Saul, is powerful, moving, disturbing and difficult to watch but filled with so many redeeming human qualities. It is so realistic in its portrayal of the camp environment it makes you feel like you are there. Definitely a film to watch. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Powerful, touching, amazing... Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I usually avoid subtitled films ( can't multi task, brings on my migraines), but this one was too good not to watch, and the subtiles large. I think this film is as memorable as Schindler's List Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Great East German Concentration Camp Movie the first German Concentration Camp Movie at all it shows the Nazis as Power-Hungry Sadits in their Cowardish Last Days while the Dooming American Forces march straight trough Buchenwald and try to intrigate the Prisoners against each other Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
