Yet another movie that should never have been made. A 'successful' (she's done some commercials) actress whose nice new wealthy husband has just been murdered before her eyes goes to stay with her parents in the small town where she grew up. This rural community is heavily populated by A-holes who envy her and blatantly lust after her everywhere she goes. Some of these troglodytes drunkenly decide to gang rape her, and wind up killing her parents and leaving her for dead. But she survives, and soon the vengeance begins. It's sorta interesting to see this smart, badass woman running tirelessly around this nasty community revenging herself using only her wits, all the while evading its dorky police and bumbling, well-armed rednecks, but the whole thing is stupid, distasteful and unsatisfying. Kaz Garas shows his flair for playing disgusting creeps.

A series of unfortunate events leads to a woman victimized with murdered husband and parents, and brutalized by a gang of locals with little help from authorities. Familiar revenge storyline done very well; Tranelli's only lead role which she handles well after a stint as Bobby Ewing's secretary. The kind of film that cemented Director Cirio Santiago's sterling reputation in the film industry.
