stu b 02/23/2019 Perfectly dreadful. Robert Culp stars as a troubled architect who moves into a long-abandoned, ramshackle old house with an eye on rebuilding it. No sooner does the construction crew arrive than everything turns predictably spooky: creeping figures, mysterious shadows, whispering voices, vanishing horsemen...you name it. The whole convoluted mess really jumps the shark, though, when the soft-core porn kicks in (at one point, Penthouse acquired the rights to the film and re-cut it), and we're suddenly being treated to full- frontal nudity and a trippy orgy that starts in a barn and ends up deep in the woods. With Samantha Eggar as Culp's doomed wife. This is one God-awful flick. Skip it. See more 05/06/2011 Fun, very dated, somewhat psychedelic, arty/pretentious (all good things) early 70s horror/thriller. See more 05/30/2010 This is one of those movies that doesn't know what it wants to be: is it a haunted house film, a drama, or an adult movie (Apparently, this was produced by Penthouse.)? By the end, you're pretty much convinced that there was something amiss regarding the film's identity, but it does have some 'What the hell?' moments. This is a prime example of one of the worst movies to ever be released. See more 08/16/2009 Impresentable pelicula de los 70s con onda lisergica, sobre una casa embrujada (?) y sus efectos sexuales (?) que produce en la gente. Sin Palabras. See more Read all reviews
