Sean L. McCarthy Decider On the one hand, Jackson’s Netflix special backs up the case for stand-up as a meritocracy where you can make your own breaks through hard work. On the other hand, some comedians do’t think crowd work is actual work. Jul 9, 2025 Full Review Daniel Hart Ready Steady Cut I’m hoping this triggers a long line of Netflix stand-ups for this comedian because Nate Jackson: Super Funny had me in tears for good reasons. Daniel B Was one note. Couldn't find anything creative to even chuckle at, let alone really laugh. His "crowd work" was a little too on the nose and obvious. Netflix really will put anything on it seems these days. Special? More like regular. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/25 Full Review Read all reviews
