Audience Member Staged by Danny Boyle with terrific flair and with its focus on the symbiotic father-son relationship between the Creature (Cumberbatch) and his creator, Victor Frankenstein (Miller), this two-hour theatre piece should be enjoyed as a choreography and design experience. The opening birthing sequence in particular is ten minutes of tolling bells and a fantastic throbbing score by Underworld as the Creature emerges. Only when he starts to speak and quote Milton does the production lose power. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
