Marjolein D It felt like a film made by high-schoolers, with an uninteresting story. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Tree huggers rejoice. The usual Hallmark absurdity. Predictable and campy. People lining the streets and news crews across the country to see a wrapped tree on the back of a semi --- uh huh, sure. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member disgusting quality assurance and customer service. we ordered a $750 tree and it didn't arrive with power supply when I contacted National they hung up twice, unprofessional and terrible customer services. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The main character, Rocky, is a blogger, so he makes vlogs, stop-motion videos, etc. Thus, there are stop-motion transitions throughout the movie that add some kitschy charm. Rocky is written as a realistic young adult; not moody and reclusive or syrupy sweet, like you normally see in holiday movies. He'd rather Skype with his friends and coordinate group collaboration projects than bond with his father where there's no wifi, but it's not like he's mean to his father. The plot is different from other holiday movies and it has a holiday flair without saturating you with the holiday spirit. The movie isn't too optimistic and doesn't have a lot of drama; it's just a son trying to win a contest in honor of his deceased mother. It's definitely one of the better holiday movies. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a cute holiday story. The plot was nice and sappy with a great ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member aNother roadtrip movie with the tree on the side Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
