Cary Darling Dallas Morning News Freewheeling and funny. Rated: 4/5 Jul 23, 2010 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Certainly there are filmgoers who enjoy this kind of noncommittal metaphysical quest. I am not one of them. It makes me think that the filmmaker is more interested in showing us his vacation slides instead of sharing any real insights. Rated: 1/5 Jul 16, 2010 Full Review John Anderson Variety While it will strike some as smug and others as sincere, pic certainly has a feel-good tone and playful attitude. Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Frank Swietek One Guy's Opinion A journey that prizes intellectual search over simplistic solutions, and if you come to it with a similar attitude you should enjoy ambling along. Rated: B Aug 3, 2010 Full Review David Cornelius Popcornworld It's overly, apologetically polite in its efforts to cover all the bases. Rated: 1/5 Jul 10, 2010 Full Review James Plath Movie Metropolis A fascinating film that shows us just how crazy we are for even trying to answer the big questions. Audience Member I had to turn this film off before it's end. The director interviewed to many people of ignorance. Try "Three Magic Words" for a much more sensible spiritual documentary. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Although i enjoyed this documentary, which deals with the world's religions, during the initial viewing, but as time went by I forgot it even exists. if not for my movie lists I'd never even remind myself of it. I feel this is a pretty good watch but unfortunately there isn't anything stronger here which would stick with you for a longer time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the few documentaries that address spirituality with minimal bias, that meaning there is a little bias present. This piece of film really gives one a good sense of the many ways of believing around the globe. I highly recommend this film to everyone that wishes to acquire a broader thought process on what faith is and what it means throughout different cultures. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member This really just makes me think how silly humans are. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member A good topic; however, I can't get past the first 10 minutes. It is a male focused & male dominated film. In the first 10 minutes two women speak in comparison to at least 15 men. Not sure why Roger Nygard choose to film male leaders exclusively. Perhaps he can make a film about male privilege, among other privileges, and how greater awareness of these privileges (i.e. is he assuming only men are spiritual great thinkers?) contributes to problems in our society. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting movie. Interview about purpose of life from all over the world.
