Memorable adaptacion a los tiempos actuales de la novela de Dostoieski, aqui el idiota se distingue por otras conductas, las que no obvias siempre dejan una estela de cuestionamiento sobre lo inteligente de nuestro comportamiento habitual. I saw it at the St. Petersburg Czech Film Festival in 2000 in a nearly incomprehensible simultaneous interpretation into Russian. Still, It stands in my memory as a valuable reading of Dostoevsky's novel and a haunting meditation on post-Communist space.
