Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com A special film and an unforgettably raw and honest film that is simultaneously unflinching and utterly beautiful. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Dec 2, 2020 Full Review Thom Ernst Original Cin Tighe doesn't pander to the "sad clown" archetype, but the overall take away is that comedy may be hard, but comedians fall harder. Rated: A-minus Sep 14, 2020 Full Review Martin Carr Flickering Myth Never Be Done pulls no punches in depicting the effects of addiction in any form, laying bare human frailty and offering up few platitudes. Aug 8, 2020 Full Review Jonathan W. Hickman Daily Film Fix ...a hard but essential watch. Rated: 8/10 Jul 3, 2020 Full Review Rosalynn Try-Hane Liquid Marmalade Whilst two thirds of the film does feel relentless, the final third is uplifting and I dare you not to applaud Richard at the end, for his better taste in jokes but also the sticking with the sober path. Jul 1, 2020 Full Review Chuck Foster Film Threat It's a journey through his darkest hour, and we humbly come along for the ride. What a ride. Rated: 8/10 Jun 16, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member An absolutely incredible, must-see movie. I laughed, I cringed, and I cried - and after it was over I watched it again. As someone in recovery myself, this is truly an inspiring film showing the raw truths of alcoholism and the clutches it holds on its victims - and the success that is possible once overcoming it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Full disclosure: I'm a Canadian comic who started my career in Vancouver, and I know Richard very well, so this movie was of great interest to me before I even started watching. That said, it was a fascinating journey to see sides of Richard I didn't know, and to see the darkness he overcame. Never Be Done is an accurate portrayal of a man on a collision course with himself, as Richard was always his own worst enemy. To see him come out the other side of his addictions and rebuild his life is truly inspiring. Well worth watching for anyone that has struggled with drugs and alcohol, and an unfiltered look into how those things can destroy you, for those that haven't. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member When I first started watching, I was pretty appalled by the the way the Glenn Let treated people. His inability to communicate properly with everyone he came in contact with was off putting. Its almost frustrating to see how he causes his own misfortunes. But after relaxing my initial emotions, I decided to keep watching, and I learned that, like most people that act this way, Richard Glenn Let was a human being and he was in pain. Following him through his journey from rock bottom to recovery helped me gain more empathy for people that suffer in similar ways, and also helped me learn about myself. This is a documentary where viewers stay on board with the subject while "the ship is sinking", we get on the life boat with the subject and then we get rescued with him. Well done and worth watching for anyone that loves a dark story of personal struggle with a heart warming outcome. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member This was not an easy film to watch - but that is also why its important for many of us who have very different life experiences to watch it and get a glimpse of into a real journey of addiction and also be inspired by what is possible with love, hard work and support from the right people who truly see us for who we are and who we can be . I love his daughter's koi story as it makes us the real impact of her love, what it means - and how his coping and recovery is affected by her light and what she stands for . This film is also a reminder that anything in life is possible if you surround yourself with those that uplift you and bring out the best in you ...and challenge you in the ways that matters the most. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Audience Member What an absolutely brilliant documentary piece of film, beautifully crafted and emotionally very very touching. A raw examination of this mans open wound of a life, done with grace , dignity and empathy. It has you pulling and praying for him and as pleased with his recovery and success as if he was a much loved family member. Could not take my eyes off it once during the whole running time. Well done , Mr. Tighe!!! Looking forward to your next project. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Just watched. FANTASTIC! Breanna's koi story was a tear jerker... as was the last "swipe right". ❤ Thanks for sharing. I bet Richard will help many people by laying it all out there so honestly in this raw and poignant film.😀 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
