Sinking into one of his most endearing roles, Cera is characteristically awkward as Nick. Dennings is charming, the addition of extra MacGuffins is a smart move by screenwriter Scafaria and Ari Graynor absolutely steals the show as Caroline. Dec 30, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Ariel B I've watched and rewatched this movie a lot, the simplicity of it, the NYC scenery, the love story behind it, the character development, they are all perfect I believe this to be an amazing movie, really recommend it Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review Braydon C never heard of this movie but it makes me sad Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Over 10 years old and one of my favorite romantic teen movies of 2008 Michael Cera, Kat Dennings, Ari Graynor, Jay Baruchel, and Alexis Dziena Nick has just broken up with his girlfriend Tris, he’s part of a band but isn’t up to go out and have fun Norah always follows the rules with her best friend but tonight she’s going to break as many of them as possible When her best friend goes missing it turns into a night of shenanigans scurrying around to find her while also having the time of her life with Nick unexpectedly The biggest band named Where’s Fluffy is secretly playing in NYC and everyone wants to be a part of the festivities Love Kat Dennings so much, she and Cera have such cute chemistry The music is quite the assortment of stuff from iconic tv shows and films I really like the 8 bit theme at one point That gum subplot was just gross though and my older sister sister didn’t like the ending Director Peter Sollett has that ‘Adventures in Babysitting’ vibe where one night can change everything for everyone A cool, smart, and sweet teenage comedy It’s also very funny and charming for having a premise stretched thinly Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Suleiman T Easy Love, win, happy ending. hate all new movies that have emotional bittersweet ending, the worl is full of shit to have emotional sad endings. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/14/23 Full Review Amanda K A sweet and witty comedy that was exceptionally relatable (at least to me). This has been one of my favorite movies for years. I love rewatching the film and have likely seen it at least 100 times over the years. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/14/23 Full Review Jace E Who knew that Michael Cera could have chemistry with another human being? In what seemed 90% improvised, he and Kat Dennings created a believable relationship through their playful banter and quick-witted dialogue. Their performances as Nick and Norah were highlights to a film that, at times, felt a bit directionless. While the film in its entirety was entertaining, there were moments that the plot dragged and there was a perceived pointlessness to the night. It was during these duller moments that Caroline's piece of gum kept me invested and anxious to see what would happen next. It was evident that there were clever ideas on the storyboard, but they were weaved together by a shallow plot. Drudging story aside, there was a consistent tone to the film, and this was driven by a fantastic indie soundtrack. Capped off by the charming escalator scene, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist is a satisfying example of the impulsiveness and carefree nature of a night in the teenage experience.
