Nick (Michael Cera) cannot stop obsessing over his ex-girlfriend, Tris (Alexis Dziena), until Tris' friend Norah (Kat Dennings) suddenly shows interest in him at a club. Thus beings an odd night filled with ups and downs as the two keep running into Tris and her new boyfriend while searching for Norah's drunken friend, Caroline (Ari Graynor), with help from Nick's band mates. As the night winds down, the two have to figure out what they want from each other.

While Cera delivers the same performance as always, at the time this felt fresh. Dennings is charming, the addition of extra MacGuffins is a smart move by screenwriter Scafaria and Ari Graynor absolutely steals the show as Caroline.

A good young people flick from the millennium. Well acted, cool story, and decent dialogue. I'm 55 and watching now so it's past my era but worthy of a spot in your collection. Nick and Nora has good chemistry.

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, os personagens são fracos, a história é ruim, com cenas ruins, como a cena em que do nada o personagem do jay baruchel pega no braço da garota e pega do nada e foda-se assédio puro, e ainda teve outras cenas ruins, o elenco é ruim e não ajuda em porra nenhuma e várias partes do filme são desinteressantes, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme.

The soundtrack was good and the acting was believable however the story didn't do much for me. I usually love single night plots and adventures this one falls short. They eventually find there beloved band "fluffy" in time for there 6am show and the ending wasn't kind of predictable and bland. I think this is micheal ceras worst rom coms

I've watched and rewatched this movie a lot, the simplicity of it, the NYC scenery, the love story behind it, the character development, they are all perfect I believe this to be an amazing movie, really recommend it

Synopsis
