There seems to be this new wave of minimalism and/or doing the bare minimum in movies in order to come off artistic. This had potential but fell short very early on. Instead, it’s basically an hour and a half of a young woman falling in love with an older man, with almost no tension or urgency whatsoever. The pacing is painfully slow, and for most of the runtime, it’s just so boring. Theres no suspense or tension. Night Nurse had me interested because of its exciting premise.
