Audience Member I really enjoyed this movie. It's told through the eyes of a kid with some flaws, and brings to mind some of the same thoughts, obsessions and emotions I had at his age (grade 8). I graduated from high school in 1981, and found the set design, and clothing, took me back in time. At time the movie slows a bit, but give it a chance as it has a strong ending. I'm looking forward to watching the other 2 movies in the trilogy - 1987, and 1992. My 17-year-old son - an anglophone Canadian who speaks French, told me about the trilogy, and he really enjoyed all three - and his recommendation was spot on for me.
