Ninja irritates far more than it thrills. Ninja pictures come around with all the regularity of Halley's Comet, making the complete uselessness of the feature all the more excruciating.

Scott Adkins (the fat guy from JOHN WICK 4) is a hugely underrated martial artist and has been delivering some stellar performances for over the past 20 years, starting in Hong Kong and then moving into the American direct-to-video market, which is why I was thrilled to see him in a major Hollywood flick with JOHN WICK 4. Here, Adkins plays a Westerner studying at a ninja school and is asked by his master to travel to NYC to project some magical armor. When a bad ninja comes to NYC to get the magical armor, a series of fights ensue. The story is completely lazy, but the fight sequences are well-staged and well-directed by director Isaac Florentine. There’s not a lot more to say about this film, but if you enjoy well-made martial arts fight sequences, this one is worth checking out!

I am a ninja trained in the mountains of Mount Rushmore and this movies was complete shit. It did not tell my story very well at all as a real life ninja. I feel like it was under cooked, but that's just my opinion as a real life ninja.

One thing that's always great about Scott Atkins movies is the action and Ninja is no exception but unfortunately this movie suffers from horrible acting and a cookie cutter story that's been done 1000 times.

The movie was a pure waste of time apart from the stunts. The costume based on Hayabusa from DOA. The most funny part was the female lead who studied ninjitsu for years and could easily beat Scott Adkins in practice has now become a damsel in distress and Scott had save her everytime. Assassins and Templars and Ninjas makes a really good comedy movie
