ashley h Nob Hill is a decent film. It is about the owner of a San Francisco saloon who yearns to rank among the upper crust of Nob Hill. George Raft and Joan Bennett give good performances. The screenplay is enjoyable but a little slow in places. Henry Hathaway did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and the music.
