jonathan m It's ok, it's not a bad made for TV movie it didn't need a big budget or theatrical release because It wouldn't have really done anything different to the story or script it's well acted it's an ok story. Three stars suit this movie because it's just ok it's very well acted it's just a bit boring . But not slow at all. Rather than "that girl" which she is known for it was nice to see Marlo Thomas in something else and I think I'm going to have to check out her back catalogue I'd like to see her in something that I haven't seen her in before. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The first half is on the boring and melodramatic side, but the second half somehow manages to push past that and make Marie's character endearing and, ultimately, inspirational. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A choppy beginning but it gets better in the second quarter of the film. A bit of an archaic psych patient movie style and is difficult to tolerate because it rides on the old fashioned stereotypes of psych wards and their patients. The attraction I find in this film is the warm genuine kindness displayed by the persons who helped Marie rehabilitate, and the great support and encouragement those persons offered her. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Well meaning but it has that unappealing ?made for television? quality about it. I will say, Marlo Thomas really does give a great performance. The core is fair, the direction lacks style.
