We loved this movie. It's an old fashioned love story beautifully acted with two very charismatic actors that is heartfelt and pure romance. It's reminiscent of the great classic love stories from the 1950's and 1960's

This is an incredibly subtle and sensual movie that will delight any esthete! For the American public, this film is not understandable, as it contains many references to Italian and pan-European culture of the 70s. This film is imbued with love and tenderness for the beauty of Italy: its landscapes, architecture and human beauty. Ferzan Ozpetek is a genius who has proven his status more than once before, but in this film he has surpassed himself. This film will appeal to connoisseurs of high culture, those for whom feelings are not an empty phrase, those who have experienced a breakup and those who remember their old love, which cannot be returned.
