In una delle zone più povere del paese dei contadini, esasperati dalla fame, cercano la rivolta contro il padrone il quale decide di contattare un killer per proteggersi. Antonio das Mortes inizialmente segue il compito che gli viene assegnato, ma successivamente prende coscienza della situazione degli agricoltori e delle loro ragioni diventando a sua volta parte del gruppo di rivoltosi contro l'ingiusto potere. Other than that, it's kind of like Jodorowsky with about 90% of the surrealism removed. If that doesn't sound dull to you, well, it is to me. I had a really, really hard time making myself care about what was going on or who was killing who. It does move at a good clip, at least, but I was still pretty bored and disinterested, despite appreciating how unusual it was.
