This Wes Anderson-esque indie movie about an underachiever who returns home after declining an opportunity for a better future, treks forth into an annoying set of circumstances that involve crappy people, his stepfather and his friend Travis. The movie doesn't have a real point to it's story, but somehow the quirky sensibilities fit well enough. As does the movie's soundtrack and it's oddly colorful direction (the flannel shirts brighten the irreverence).
