Audience Member So fantastically bonkers. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is based on a classic manga by Osamu Tezuka and directed by Hajime Sato, who did Kyuketsuki Gokemidoro aka Goke, Body Snatcher From Hell. It features Sonny Chiba leading a super-science team against a guy in a hood that looks vaguely like a space gerbil with 6 eyes, one metal claw hand and one three-fingered E.T. hand. Who shoots lasers. Luckily, they're assisted by a reanimated, gold lamé-clad mummy man from Atlantis who laughs a lot, can fly, and yells stuff like, "Receive the baton of justice!" It's actually very well made and highly enjoyable, with good music, cinematography and effects. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Masterpiece of the japanese imaginery.. Full review coming soon on an Italian website ^^ Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite funny, but may be only for people interested in the genre... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun Japanese matinee cheapie w/ our title hystericly laughing skeleton faced hero awakened in Atlantis to save Sonny Chiba & the rest of the earth w/ his ass kicking baton of justice from a collision course w/ the planet Icarus caused by the very evil squid rug Nazu.
