Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express Never quite [becomes] the great retro chic gangster flick that it sets out to be. Rated: 2/5 May 26, 2015 Full Review Namrata Joshi Outlook OUTIM doesn't go beyond the obvious and essentially remains nothing more than a straightforward tale about how the new order takes over from the old in the underworld hierarchy. Rated: 2/4 May 26, 2015 Full Review Mayank Shekhar Hindustan Times Few actors in mainstream films manage a self-assured, under-stated swagger, convey so much silently, sometimes just with their glance and droopy eyes... Bachchan perfected it as the 'angry young man'. Devgn, you can tell, is his fine successor. Rated: 3/5 May 26, 2015 Full Review Nikhat Kazmi The Times of India Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai offers you both substance and soul, even as it dabbles with a slice of reality. Don't miss it. Audience Member I just watch this movie. I did not identify the real genre of this movie. drama o mystery o suspense. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review yash b "Once Upon a Time in Mumbai" is a stylish and well acted period piece that I liked for the most part. The movie's story starts off very strongly in its first act but then it goes back and forth from being interesting and kind of dull. However, the movie has very solid performances from the lead characters and that made up for the slower moments in the story. It's a good movie on a technical level and it kept my interest almost all the way through. I think there are better Bollywood movies about crime out there, but that doesn't make this one not worth checking out. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member an amazing movie ..love haji mastan Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Ahmed M This movie is an amazing entertaining movie, the story is great and all the performances by the actors were great as well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/25/16 Full Review Audience Member I went to Netflix all "Hey, Netflix, what should I watch from Bollywood?" and it was like "Historical fiction gangster time?" and I was like "Yaaaassssss." Seriously. I enjoyed this. What a great movie. Right up my alley. Musical gangsters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I thoroughly enjoyed watching the quietly menacing gangst-ah Ajay Devgan. Not so sure about his character's Robin Hood ethos of robbing the rich to feed the poor, which is inevitably brought down by the younger, more impatient, rob-like-you-don't-give-a-damn attitude. The same tired conventionality in expressing the generational changing of the guard. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
