SkyRo P I thought overall that the film was fine, I didn't think it was a bad film. It had it's ups and downs, sometimes the storyline was a little crazy. But at the end of the day, it wasn't a bad film it's something worth watching, at least getting that Timothée Chalamet fixed on another film But overall, it's not something that you would constantly revisit whatsoever, but it is something for a one time fix of TV time, or even vacuuming Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/24 Full Review Jelisije J A movie that deals with a little bit of everything. Bonds between siblings, people fearing with what they don't understand, helicopter parents, and do the kids super powers affect their mother seizures..... A very interesting movie nevertheless. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/26/23 Full Review ari s Ughh wanted this to be better but it's not the actors fault it's the lack of dialogue. The actors didn't have much to work with and it's a shame because both leads are wonderful actors given something to work with. C- Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great leads in Shipka and the stunning Chalamet, but promising plot turned to dust. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/13/18 Full Review Audience Member I love the style and feel of the film, along with great performances by the young leads, but halfway through, it just never answered any of the questions it seemed to rely on so heavily to move the film forward, and that cryptic teasing carrot leading me on became an annoying trick, just like at the greyhound racetrack. I like mysteries and things left unanswered, but if that's all you seem to have is unanswered questions, it loses its charm and appeal after awhile. There wasn't much character development or emotional connection. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member One & Two is a hypnotic drama about teleporting teens, eventhough the acting isn't all that great. Leslie Felperin Guardian It's like Terrence Malick were making a superhero origin story. The lack of explanation wouldn't be a problem if the ending didn't feel somehow predictable and lethargic, but the cast help make this watchable. Rated: 3/5 Jan 28, 2016 Full Review Kat Poole Empire Magazine It looks beautiful and there is an interesting denouement, but it disappoints; the build-up just isn't developed enough for it to matter. Rated: 2/5 Jan 28, 2016 Full Review Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times Gorgeous and naturalistic shots by cinematographer by Autumn Durald speak volumes, and the atonal, foreboding score by Nathan Halpern creates a sense of dread, though they are ultimately squandered in an underdeveloped story. Aug 20, 2015 Full Review Sarah Brinks Battleship Pretension With two excellent lead performances, a compelling premise, and a fine sense to tease a mystery, One & Two should prove quite pleasing to sci-fi fans. Jan 14, 2021 Full Review Matthew Anderson CineVue Bogged down by loose direction, an underdeveloped script and little more than surface characterisation. Rated: 2/5 Apr 8, 2019 Full Review Matt Looker Total Film The sci-fi element confounds rather than enhances; we're left with a sense of anticlimax fuelled by loose ends and unexplored potential.
