christopher c. m This was called the worst movie of 2010 and I could not agree more. Part of the movie you think it's going to be a haunted house story with the ghostly noise. Then they find obviously ancient area in the basement that was obviously not part of the newer house, like a dungeon. You think maybe demonic cult or demons. It's like 3 different movies got mixed up in the copy room and they just filmed it anyway. One scene Logan sees a truck outside with it's lights on that vanishes without making a sound, nothing comes of that. A strange old lady saying it was her house, never brought up again. Oh yeah, I'm guessing the writer never sold a house and have no idea how it works. I understand not having tenants around during the open house. But it's called an open house because the door to the house it literally opened during a said amount of time so people can walk in. And leave the key under the mat? The real estate agent would have a copy of the key. But the main antagonist doesn't show up until literally the third act. We have no idea who he is, all we see is his feet. No motive or anything. Not even a scary mask. SPOILER WARNING!!!! IF YOU DON'T WANT IT SPOILED STOP READING: He proceeds to torture and kill the family before heading for another Open House. Why? No reason. Another fine graduate of the "Rubber" School of no reason film-making. First, pick a lane. Haunted house? Demon horror? Family drama? Or suspense.
