The result is maudlin beyond belief, especially Nixon's farewell to the aides he's in the process of firing, but other moments simply register as shockingly out of touch. Go to Full Review

Alain E @AlainE Jun 30 Informative documentary. Talking about bravery, it shows the vocal group The Ray Conniff singers invited to perform at the White House and before they started they unfolded a sign against the war in Vietnam. Then the concert took place like any other event. Today, they would have been shot. Nixon also reveals that homosexuality destroyed Greece. “The last six Roman emperors were fags”. But also when there are demonstrations against the war converses with Erlichman and decide not to call any troops. Nixon: “No! God! No!” And you thought history progresses linearly.
