Melissa-Rae G Like many films about soldiers coming home after war and learning how to fit back into their normal lifestyle, Out of the Fight is very relatable. The main character, Jason served his country for three tours and now that he finds himself back home, trying to figure out where he fits back in with his wife, daughter and new home life, he turns to substance abuse to deal with his PTSD. This film tackles the realities of life after a soldier returns home from war. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Jason P Sergeant Jason Pate returns home after three lengthy tours of duty in Afghanistan. The battles he has endured has begun to take a toll on his mind. As he attempts to adjust to life back in the states. He struggles with the effects of the war, and how it relates to his civilian life, and the ability to find meaning and purpose, while everyone around him lives normally. Jason begins to turn to substances to ease his pain and help him forget the struggles of war. This film looks into life after military service. It does a good job of showing the contrast of what can happen during your deployment and back at home, and how that can affect soldiers. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Audience Member An excellent storyline that shines a light on what our veterans sometimes deal with when readjusting to civilian life. Powerful performances by the entire cast. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie misses on every level and honestly from my perspective as a Veteran, it's bordering on insulting. If not having already fully invaded the sovereign nation of insultia.
