02/09/2017 Combining appropriated media with superimposition film stock effects, Outer Space is a unique viewing experience that some will find complex meaning in and others will think it's pretentious nonsense. See more 11/11/2016 Distorting short clips from a pre-existing horror beyond recognition with static and noise is not an impressive use of ten minutes. See more 02/18/2010 Bizarre and extremely unique, but I can't say that I enjoyed watching it. However, I don't think it was made to be enjoyed or even liked. It takes a typical 80s horror film (a rip-off of Amityville) and turns it into something completely different. I think many who see this will find it much more disturbing than The Entity. Wonderfully effective and evocative, while simultaneously acting as a comment on the materiality of cinema - the celluloid strip itself is employed as an actual storytelling tool, changing our idea of typical film language.
