Samantha Rose B Such an original take on a movie musical. Felt like a stage play come to life in every detail, down to the camera angles. A+ direction—you can tell they did their prep work for this one. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Dylan J Movies like this are hard to find. An indie film that really pushes the boundaries of satire! What a joy to have found this little film! Great writing, big but fun performances, incredible voices, fun dancing, jokes that will make you LOL, wild direction (at one point it goes from a theater stage to a visually stunning red and blue coal mine and then back to the stage but with camera moviements like a film!) It leaves you wondering, what did I just watch? What was that? It breaks conventions like it shatters reverence. But you are laughing too hard to give it too much thought. The bluegrass music is phenominal and stays with you for days. Don't want to spoil it, so just go watch it for yourselves! Highly recommend this 5 star low-budget, indie bluegrass musical! There is nothing like it out there these days! And Jon Root shines! Raquel Castro and Mary Sarah sizzle, and the whole cast lights up the stage Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Lisa S I laughed out loud more times than I could count. Brilliantly written, clever and fresh! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/26/24 Full Review Chris B Great performances. Great songs. Plus it's a story of redemption! Amazing what this creative team produced on a micro budget and mini schedule. (Dig the opening credits.) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/15/24 Full Review Bobby N A must see! Director Justin Ward bring out the best in this hilarious and well executed stage play. Don't miss it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/12/24 Full Review James T Big laughs, low budget. The songs are catchy, seem innocuous, and are filled with subversion of the 'standard' musical. The cast was great; the small team really made this stage play fill the whole town.
