Audience Member Snow, red dust, adventure and even philosophy, my kids and I loved it. It's epic, super well made and smart. Zachary Quinto delivers the ship log and it's the cherry on the cake. Thanks!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Una absoluta perdida de tiempo. Un documental barato de algunos tipos viajando por el artico impostando un dramatismo sobreactuado de culebron latino q nada tiene q ver con Marte, solo una asociacion inexplicable, insostenible, una fabula mediocre. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Neat. The film stays with you. Perhaps too European style filmmaking for the average American audience used to Discovery Channel "truck" stuff reality show. If you like atmosphere, elegance, mystery and cleverness, it's for you. Quinto's narrating as if he was there, on the sea ice. Splendid. A-class. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved it. Surreal at times, beautifully made. Unusual journey carrying a adventure and thought-provoking mystery. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Arctic Nasa survival blending with haunting views of Mars. A must see! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Super intriguing and immersive. Original approach loaded with mystic. Makes you want to go to Mars. Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times [A] misguided hybrid that makes tediously clear from the outset that [its] conceit just isn't working. Oct 6, 2016 Full Review John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Danger doesn't quite translate into sustained drama here, in part because the reliance on voiceover distances us from the action. Sep 30, 2016 Full Review Ken Jaworowski New York Times Take "Ice Road Truckers," mix it with "The Martian" and blend in a book of verse, and you've got something that resembles "Passage to Mars," a beguiling documentary that's concerned as much with images as it is with information. Sep 29, 2016 Full Review Bernard Boo We Got This Covered Jeauffre's blending of terrestrial and extraterrestrial imagery is hypnotizing and spectacular, but this story of survival feels too bloodless to appeal to the average viewer. Rated: 5/10 Oct 2, 2016 Full Review David Noh Film Journal International Essentially trite presentation of a facsimile space mission that never gets off the ground, in more ways than one.
