More in the children fantasy genre than what I thought would be a horror flick - and surprisingly very good. Has tones of Roald Dahl as done by Johnny Depp and that French director who did Amelia, etc - but its own originality. Strongly recommend.

A strange movie that is equal parts Will Farrell comedy, musical, and flat out insanity. Easily could be suggested as a Christmas Movie if you were deranged. Still, watch this movie. It's too bizarre not to.
