Audience Member You'll have to decide for yourself whether this is a clever way to address the issue of paternity within a homosexual couple or too much of a gimmick. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Although the pregnant man thing has been done before and not a bad idea, but this time around its just not executed very well...for instance it might have been more acceptable if the expectant father had had a C Section instead of a pool birth...unless we're supposed to believe he had female genitalia down there instead of a butt hole ! It's dumb nonsense...and doesn't do the movie any favours. The characters are likeable enough and it's not void of love and a little romance ... However,in need of a decent script it is void of laughs and pathos. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Best feature of Evansville's MayDay Film Festival! A gay man in a committed relationship finds out he is pregnant. What's great about the movie is that this fantastical premise is not played for laughs. Greg, the "dude," is a medical miracle and experiences all the pleasures and pains of pregnancy, including hormonal rage, the desertion of his partner, working with a doula, and running into an ex. It's by turns touching and funny and true. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
