What happened to his career because of a sorry wave of attention-hungry frustrated me-too-ists is an unspeakable shame. It is far from certain that he'll be able to rebuild his career. I have no words to express my contempt for the people responsible for his demise. That said, I put a five star rating for this movie because we have to do all we can to help him rise again. His acting is still there, but one can see the toll the detestable trials he's been subjected to has taken on him. The neo-noir atmosphere and Hermannish music are reasonably convincing, but it is impossible to by-pass the terrible, and I mean ter-ri-ble, acting of Jet Jandreau.
