In this animated feature, Piglet (John Fiedler) is the smallest of all his friends, which doesn't account for his big heart and bold attitude. But, try as he might, Piglet cannot convey his personality to his friends -- not even to Winnie the Pooh (Jim Cummings) ! Piglet becomes fed up after being excluded from a honey-thieving scheme, so strikes out on his own to do some thinking. But when Piglet's friends discover he's missing, the only clue they have to go on is a scrapbook he left behind.

Nell Minow Common Sense Media Not very interesting, imaginative, or exciting. Rated: 2/5 Dec 27, 2010 Full Review J. R. Luke R It’s a good childhood movie. But Piglet should’ve gotten more screen time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/24 Full Review Ben Q This is an example of a kid's movie that the parents can sit down and enjoy, too. The soundtrack by Carly Simon is also fun. It's one of the better Pooh films. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It's fun enough, but not as charming as Winnie the Pooh adventures can be. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Another theatrical release from DisneyToon studios, the television division of Disney Animation. This film is about Piglet feeling small and unimportant compared to his friends, but his friends remember stories that prove otherwise. The animation in this movie is on par with the others in the franchise and the television show. The voice actors all reprise their roles very well. There are some funny moments in this film and the writing seems to have a few things that the adults watching with their children will get. The music in this movie was done by Carly Simon and while cute, the music isn't memorable. My only real complaint is that they play with the timeline in the flashback segments (Tigger shouldn't be there, but he is). If you like Winnie the Pooh and friends then check this movie out. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Piglet's Big Movie isn't as good as The Tigger Movie unfortunately. But I can say that it works fine as another Winnie the Pooh spin-off by DisneyToon Studios involving Piglet. The story takes a long advantage of using flashbacks in a scrapbook but atleast it's not scamming as an anthology, especially since it went to theaters. The characters are still written well and has a small message, no pun intended. The animation is more par than The Tigger Movie as well but it's still above standard level. Not to mention the soundtrack is well done by Carly Simon also giving musical numbers to Pooh and his friends. This movie isn't great but it seems to work. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Piglet in the spotlight and an amazing soundtrack :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Read all reviews
