Audience Member yeah this movie sucks but i like the way it sucks. probably the best movie abt a arm wrestler over Over The Top bc there was more going on w the characters. OTT would have been way better w Mr T instead of Stallone & Roddy Piper as the bad guy. if they did that then stock the arm wrestling tournament scenes w 80s wwf/NWA stars it would have been my favorite movie as a kid. this film came out in 1982 but it looks like 1984 to me bc these were the VHS available to rent(late 70s-early 80s. i like this film bc it was made during the oldest times i can remember. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member ***Due to the recent RT changes that have basically ruined my past reviews, I am mostly only giving a rating rather than a full review.*** Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A stupid movie about an arm wrestling champ and a runaway girl. This movie could have been a lot better. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Good acting from Ringwald as usual, but the story could use some work. I mean, arm wrestling competitions? Really? It's kinda silly at times. They had good drama with Ringwald's character running away from her abusive stepfather, but then Le Mat's character's arm wrestling scenes just get in the way! Overall, I am glad to have found the video of this so I could see another great 80s performance from Molly Ringwald! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
