Ernesto Zelaya Miñano ScreenAnarchy Plan 9 can stand on its own as a cheesy B-movie and it goes down well with friends, beer and pizza in tow, in a double bill with its forefather. Feb 3, 2023 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed A solid and entertaining movie with enough strong direction and realization of Wood's ideas to act as a serviceable zombie movie. Audience Member A great remake of a classic! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Remaking the so called " worst movie ever made" was an ambitious idea. This remake/homage/parody of the Ed Wood cult classic was supposed to show what Wood's film would've looked like if he had the required budget to do so. But this is a little ironic, because it doesn't look like this film was very expensive either, the special effects are real cheesy, the dialogue is bad and the acting is fucking horrible. It's a little half-assed and you'd wish that it was done by a major studio. But otherwise, it does have its good points, like some nice zombie gore, some humorous moments and a pleasant appearance by James Rolfe, which always helps. Overall, it's a very flawed and silly pic, but just like the original, it's got a certain charm to it. If you're curious enough, check it out... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A valiant attempt at an homage to a truly terrible piece of cinematic history. Pretty good production value, but a bit dry and boring on the acting and directing. Some weird music choices and maybe some inside jokes, or just bad jokes that didn't really play out. For a horror movie it kind of just bored me. Probably a much tighter edit would have gone a long way. Also, would have worked better as a remake than an homage, but probably if it had been a remake some would say that it should have been an homage. Definitely worth watching if you are a fan of b-horror movies or a film student / hobbyist because there is definitely some promising stuff here. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member terrible acting.. seemed pretty stupid Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member I didn't even make it past the first 5 minutes of this feeble and obvious attempt at trying to make a cult classic out of a remake...it's just fake and it stinks.
