While studying at the Sorbonne in Paris, graduate students Eloi (Malik Zidi) and Alexandre (Alexandre Steiger) are inspired by an eloquently spoken student, André (Thibault Vinçon). After socializing with André outside of class, they quickly adopt him as their intellectual leader, allowing his influence to transform both their personal and academic lives. But when André's brilliance begins to unravel, the students must judge for themselves whether they've changed for the better -- or the worse.
